Our Therapeutic Approach

01 — Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Increasing psychological flexibility through acceptance and mindfulness strategies can drastically assist in “moving toward valued power”. This type of therapy aims to positively help with remaining present through all that life can bring by learning to emotionally regulate with greater understanding of the truth.

02 — Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

Structured talking therapy to help with your awareness of negative thinking, intended to provide clarity on inaccuracies so that you may respond more clearly to difficult situations. Sometimes we fill in the gaps with anxiety-driven thinking, which can lend itself to distorted perspectives and fragmented reality - CBT can help you recognise those moments and choose brighter paths.

03 — Mindfulness

Learning mindfulness is like any other skill, it takes time and practice. Holistically restoring balance to your life may feel like an immense workload, particularly when you have lived in survival mode and become comfortable with your coping strategies. Introducing a mindful approach into your every day can have a profound effect on not only your mental wellbeing, but your physical and spiritual being as well.

04 — Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)

SFBT is centred on your resilience and strength and aims to provide solutions that are goal-oriented. Through observation and concise questioning based on what is observed, you can reflect on the things that are standing in the way of your ultimate self by examining more of the present and less of the past. This collaborative approach can be highly effective for a number of things such as relationships and motivation.

We all have struggles…it’s what we do with them that makes all the difference.
